Biography:
Attorney Christine Baptiste is a native of Brooklyn, New York. Before entering the legal profession, she taught high school in Louisiana and worked in human resources recruitment. Christine has experience in construction law, insurance coverage, personal injury litigation, and international business compliance. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and dogs.
Education:
Attorney Baptiste is a proud graduate of Cornell University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in American Studies with a concentration in Race and Ethnicity, as well as double minors in Inequality Studies and Latino Studies. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

Attorney Baptiste is admitted to practice law in the state courts of Connecticut.
Leadership, Memberships & Honors:
While in law school, Attorney Baptiste distinguished herself by earning the Milton W. Memorial Prize for Excellence in Torts, as well as CALI Excellence for the Future Awards® in Torts and Islamic Finance and Investment Law. She gained valuable experience through long-term internships with international corporations in Connecticut, where she played a key role in launching, administering, and expanding global compliance platforms. Attorney Baptiste was elected to public office and served as Chair of Connecticut’s largest public school system, exemplifying her commitment to community leadership. She is a justice of the peace and a former member of her local political town committee. Attorney Baptiste is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association and a former board director of the George W. Crawford Black Bar Association. She is dedicated to providing client-centered legal counsel and is passionate about serving her community both inside and outside the courtroom.
